First off I want to say that I respect the football culture there and football is a great sport( probably my second favorite behind hockey) and I am not surprised that it is the most popular sport in America. What’s shocking to me is how overwhelmingly popular it is. I did some research and apparently NHL conference finals averaged around 3 million viewers in America, NBA 7 million and NFL a whopping 50 million( these are conference finals/ championships numbers as NHL finals haven’t begun yet). Also on youtube the irl sports videos I see are mainly basketball with some hockey, or people reviewing New England Patriots Official NFL Veteran Camo T shirt and sports gear, but I rarely see football videos( maybe just me , so if you know a great irl football channel let me know )

That’s the big thing. In the English speaking market, you have all that you mentioned, plus Canadian football being different as well. It is far too saturated. American football is making strides in Japan and Italy, but rugby has grown way faster. Obviously England and Germany are a focus at the moment. Some potential there, but it is going to be hard to move past niche sport. American football should focus on selling New England Patriots Official NFL Veteran Camo T shirt in Mexico and the Caribbean, maybe look to Nigeria and Ghana as well. But they won’t, because those countries aren’t as lucrative at the moment.
