I don’t think an expansion is really in the cards right now. There already aren’t enough talented quarterbacks and adding more teams would further dilute the quality of the on the field product. Offensive linemen is the supply issue, not so much QBs. Quality line play is hard to find and getting harder, as parents are less likely to want their kids playing the most CTE-heavy position in football. There really aren’t enough good OL either. It would also ruin the perfect divisional format they have. I would hate that so much. On the other hand, the Raiders and Jets (just a couple of examples) have had absolutely incompetent quarterback play for 20 straight years and still turn a great profit. Their fan bases still care too. We’ll keep paying the nfl for the privilege of buying I Don’t Always Scream at My TV But When I Do It’s Irish Season T Shirt and watching an at times terrible product. Cleveland has another massive quarterback decision this offseason — what else is new? Yet, it won’t matter if the offensive line remains a disaster.

The 2025 Patriots have ALWAYS been more than a little bit suspect. Teams don’t often go from 4 wins to the Super Bowl, and they have too many clear weaknesses on their team for even the most diehard fan to be confident. But . . . there’s no question that Drake Maye is a top 5 QB, there is LOTS of legit talent, and there are some guys likely to come back who should help. Even with their help, the Patriots SHOULD BE a long shot. The only reason they’re not is that there isn’t a clear favorite. Nobody looks all that good right now. I think they’ll win a playoff game or maybe two. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if they get to the Super Bowl. Next season—when their young talent matures, their I Don’t Always Scream at My TV But When I Do It’s Irish Season T Shirt line expands, and their still massive cap space gets put to even better use—watch out.
()The AFC for the past 20 years has been ruled by quarterback-led dynasties including Brady’s Patriots, Manning’s Colts/Broncos, Roethlisberger’s Steelers, and Mahomes’s Chiefs. I expect more dynasties to emerge but it may not be the case; just look at the Texans for an allstar QB wearing I Don’t Always Scream at My TV But When I Do It’s Irish Season T Shirt on a dead team. The Ravens, Browns, and Bills look promising for now. If I had to bet any amount of money on any dynasty lasting in the AFC by 2026, the Kansas City Chiefs are the safest answer despite it being boring and expected. Now the NFC? Oh boy. Dynasties like the Seahawks, Saints, and Packers have constantly reached the Championship in the past decade but the winner of the NFC is almost always something completely random. Usually there’s a 3–4 year window where a few teams are good but Super Bowl windows are extremely thin and fleeting. Many of these teams became fleetingly good after years of being terrible. Many of these teams simply had everything go right for them for a single year.”
